Why so inexpensive?  Why charge anything at all?

This site isn't intended to make anyone rich but the effort involves requires some compensation to make it worth it.  We could just post it on YouTube but we'd only make pennies for thousands upon thousand of streams and that's just not practical.

Do I need previous experience playing jazz?

The value of this site is presenting the ultimate in Backing Track presentation.  Progressions that have been 'color-coded' and analyzed using The Chord Wheel make it possible for players to follow the harmony as outlined by the chord progression's changes.  This site is not currently intended to recommend scales/modes to play over the chords or to teach any particular instrument.

Do I need to already own The Chord Wheel  book?

No.  The progressions will already be 'analyzed' for you using the basic concepts of The Chord Wheel.  (And there are often  videos that walk you though the process.).   This process will make you want to get a Chord Wheel, however.
